This investment bank based in Mayfair is looking for a legal counsel to work alongside its Head of Legal on a variety of legal matters affecting the business.
You would be primarily in charge of engagement processes for new deals and clients, in particular in respect of restructuring and corporate deals. You would be heavily involved in the drafting and negotiation of complex engagement letters, NDAs confidentiality agreements and work closely with the deal teams. In addition, you may be involved in corporate and commercial matters affecting the business as and when.
The working hours are excellent and would suit someone looking to work with a degree of flexibility. The salary package is also very attractive.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years post qualification experience with a general corporate, banking or restructuring background from a top city law firm or in-house. Previous experience working in a banking experience would be preferable.
