This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Employment Solicitor to join our clients’ Legal 500-rated team. Undertaking predominantly respondent work, the successful Employment Solicitor must have solid experience in contentious and non-contentious matters. The caseload will include: HR support; redundancies; discrimination; compromise agreements; dismissal and grievances and; drafting and negotiating contracts of employment. The ideal Employment Solicitor will have a commercially-focused approach and be able to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues alike; with involvement in business development activities being essential for the position.

You must be a qualified Solicitor with around 3 – 7 years’ PQE gained within a well-regarded Employment department.
You must have a proven track record of involvement in respondent work, both contentious and non-contentious.
You will have excellent academics with at least a 2:1 at degree level.
Prior involvement in business development activities would be advantageous.
You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills across all levels.
