Locum Childcare Solicitor

An excellent opportunity for a Locum Childcare Solicitor to join a successful Local Authority legal team has arisen in the Northern Home Counties.

The position is initially for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of further extension.

Applications are welcome from Qualified Solicitors, Barristers or Legal Executives with previous experience working within a Local Government organisation.

The duties on a day-to-day basis are as follows:

• Managing a full caseload of Childcare cases
• Dealing with interim care orders and emergency protection orders
• Attending both County Court and Family Proceedings Court
• Performing own advocacy at both contested and final hearings

A rate of £30 - £40 per hour dependant upon experience is offered.
