A highly regarded US law firm based in stunning offices in the heart of the City currently has an excellent opportunity for an IT Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day IT operations in their London office. Working alongside the IT Manager, the IT Supervisor will oversee the daily workflow and provide phone and deskside technical support to hardware and software related queries.
This is a varied and hands on role which will involve but not be limited to:
- Supervision of a small IT Team
- Monitoring daily workflow
- Reporting to and communicating with senior management
- Monitoring support activity
- Floor walking and deskside visits
- Coordinating new hire technology training
- Troubleshooting and repairing of Audio Visual equipment
- Maintaining inventory of all IT equipment
This is a highly customer service focussed role which requires excellent communication skills and the ability to develop junior members of staff while creating a positive work environment. Previous helpdesk experience in a Law Firm or professional services environment is preferred and application knowledge of the following is highly desired: OpenText DM, iCreate Macrosuite, Macroview, iTimekeep and Interaction CRM. Supervisory experience is essential and the successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of networks, remote access applications and call tracking applications. A MOUS or A+ Hardware/Software certification is highly desirable.
