Our client is a leading London practice looking to make a key hire into its planning team.  The team is well ranked by legal directories for the calibre of its lawyers and the quality of work they conduct.  The team is headed up a ‘leading individual’ with a top-tier City background.  The team conduct a mixed caseload of largely premium, advisory planning matters and have also recently been instructed on high-profile contentious matters as well.

The current requirement is for an experienced planning lawyer at the junior to mid-level associate level.  This individual will likely have an excellent track record of training and experience gained within a private practice setting.  Mandatory experience will include assisting  with general planning matters, compulsory purchase orders as well as planning applications, appeals, s106 agreements along with the challenges and enforcement aspects within these areas.

The team pride itself on the quality and consistency in its service provision, they expect their lawyers to have a strong academic track record as well as a genuine interest in planning law.  If you feel your experience meets this description, you have the required PQE level and you are UK qualified please forward your CV directly
