Locum Lawyer

A locum lawyer is required to join an East Midlands Local Authority on a part-time basis for a minimum period of 3 months.

The successful lawyer will be assisting the Monitoring Officer on a day to day basis in relation to matters concerning member code of conduct and member complaints.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in dealing with this area of work, and will have excellent negotiation skills and knowledge of local government law.

This position is to start as soon as possible and the successful candidate will be required to work 3 days per week.
