Conveyancing Legal Assistant/Fee Earner
Sue Ross Legal are assisting with the recruitment of an experienced Legal Assistant to join expanding Conveyancing department in a long established and well-known local law firm in Barnsley
The successful candidate will be either an experienced Conveyancing Secretary, Conveyancing Legal Assistant, or a Paralegal/Fee Earner or Licenced Conveyancer/Qualified Solicitor dealing with the following;
- Drafting correspondence
- Managing and organising large volumes of documents
- Liaising with clients face to face and over the telephone
- Dealing with exchanges and completions (supervised or unsupervised)
- Preparing completion statements and accounts
- General administration and other ad hoc duties as and when required
The ideal candidate will have previous property experience, excellent communication and IT skill and if a fee earner (paralegal or qualified) will be able to run their own caseload of sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfer of equity and new builds. As an experience Secretary or Legal Assistant you will have supported a busy Residential Property department previously.
