THE ROLE
This role will suit a solicitor with a solid background in family law and specific experience in publicly-funded children cases. The firm is looking for someone with a real commitment to developing his or her caseload and promoting the department through effective marketing and networking, ideally able to promote the firm through social networking and contributing to the firm’s website. THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be a solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE experience in a well-regarded firm;
Have a solid background in family law and with children matters in particular;
Have experience in dealing with the Legal Aid Agency;
Be a determined, robust advocate;
Enjoy networking and be prepared to engage in business development and marketing matters as required;
Have excellent communication skills, able to engage with clients from a variety of different cultures and from different walks of life and be able to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language.
Fluency in a second language is not essential, but would be an advantage.
