Head of Private Client, Gloucestershire - A regional law firm is keen to capitalise on their recent successes through the appointment of a skilled and talented Private Client Solicitor to lead the private client department into the next stage of growth.

SALARY: £Dependant on experience

A leading regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced and well rounded Private Client Solicitor to take charge of the thriving private client team. Based in Gloucestershire, you will be expected to undertake you own fee earning work as well as supervise other members within the private client team. You fee earning responsibilities will include advising on the broad remit of private client law including Wills, Court of Protection, elderly client issues, Probate and Trusts. In addition you will also be expected to play a key role in the development of the department both through business development and networking activities. Playing an active contribution in the running of the team, you will be developing staff, leading meetings, performing fee earning activities accurately as well as developing new work from existing clients.

Ideal Private Client Lawyers will have a minimum of 7 years experience gained within a reputable and leading law firm renowned for their private client offerings. As the appointed Private Client Solicitor you will be well versed in all areas of private client law including but not limited to Wills, Probate, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and elderly client issues. Together with sound technical expertise, the successful Head of Private Client will have a demonstrable background in mentoring and supporting development within staff members as well as ensuring time frames are adhered to. STEP qualified Private Client Solicitors will be considered for this role and must be able to demonstrate an excellent record to date.
