Residential Property Lawyer Job in Bath


This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to become a key member of my clients Property Team in Bath. The purpose of the role is to support the team in providing bespoke, high level Private Property services to existing and new clients, working with internal referrers, existing referrers and securing new referrals.

Responsibilities

Specialist areas of Private Property work will include the following:-

• Sale and Purchase of freehold houses
• Sale and Purchase of leasehold properties
• Preparing long leases
• Preparing tenancy agreements
• Re-mortgage of freehold and leasehold properties
• Preparing Reports
• Reporting on Mortgages and Security Documents

Skills and experience
The successful candidate will provide high quality specialised legal services within the Private Property Team, to satisfy the demand and requirements of what can be a challenging client profile and especially to:-

• take instructions from clients on a matter and to act on behalf of clients to bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion;
• to assist other members of the Team and the Firm in client related matters;
• managing the client relationship to achieve high levels of client satisfaction and ensure that all time limits are kept;
• to ensure that all matters are kept up to date and dealt within appropriate time scales.

KEY ATTRIBUTES
Qualification: Qualified lawyer ideally with at least 4 - 5 years PQE Experience and Knowledge:

• Significant experience and expertise in residential property, in particular high value property transactions
• Residential conveyancing experience particularly having experience with leasehold and freehold properties in London
• Business Development experience
