Risk & Compliance Manager
An opportunity has arisen with a well established legal 500 firm in Leeds to join as a Risk & Compliance Manager.
Working closely with the partners and other senior stakeholders within the firm, the Risk & Compliance Manager will solely be responsible for ensuring that all three offices across the Yorskhire area are adhering to all regulatory obligations and codes of practice.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) implementing robust policies and procedures to mitigate risk, conducting risk annual audits and filing reports, handling Legal Ombudsman complaints, maintaining risk register, renewal of practising certificates and managing the ongoing membership of the Lenders Panel.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 5 years+ senior level compliance experience gained within a commercial law firm, solid knowledge of the SRA requirements, experience within the residential property sector and have the ability to gain creditability both internally and externally.
