Well-regarded, multi-office firm requiring a Private Client Lawyer for up to 12 months.

Our client is an established full-service law firm providing legal advice to a broad range of clients both in the UK and overseas. Having grown steadily over recent years, their network of offices now covers the South East of England and central London, providing a positive and dynamic environment for their partners and over 30 lawyers. They are now seeking a talented Private Client Lawyer for their office in the Leatherhead area for a 6 – 12 month contract.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity with a renowned firm for a driven and technically-proficient Private Client Lawyer. Joining on a contract basis from February 2017 for up to 12 months, the successful Private Client Lawyer will manage a full caseload, encompassing all aspects of Wills and Probate including Powers of Attorney, deputyships and managing trusts. The ability to advise clients in the office and at external locations in conjunction with solid, accurate drafting skills are essential for the role. The ideal Private Client Lawyer will also participate in business development for the department and firm as a whole.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with around 2 – 3 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Private Client department.
You must have excellent technical skills with a broad range of expertise.
You must be available from February 2017 for 6 – 12 months.
You will be client-focused with excellent drafting skills.
Willingness to become involved in business development activities is essential for the position.
