Accounts Payable Administrator

The firm currently have an opening for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
Accurately process supplier invoices and ensure they are appropriately authorised, coded and posted on to the system
Timely filing of invoices following the weekly payment run
Manage the purchase ledger mailbox and efficiently address supplier queries; ensuring all queries are resolved in a professional manner
Manage and process employee expense claims
Work to agreed weekly timeframes for payment of supplier invoices and employee expense claims
Preparation of BACS file for weekly payment runs
Support Accounts Payable Assistant, Senior Financial Accountant and others in the team.
Posting journals and providing ad-hoc analysis, when required
The successful candidate will possess strong accounts payable and purchase ledger experience, with a basic understanding of accounting principles, ideally gained within legal services.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to effectively manage own workload and work well under pressure
Good communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels
