Venn Group`s specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the Northern Home Counties which is easily commutable from London. This contract is offered for an initial period of 3 months with a high possibility of extension

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with previous experience specializing in Commercial Property law, ideally from a Local Authority background. Experienced Lawyers with a Private Practice background with the relevant experience will also be considered.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Managing a caseload comprising a broad range of property work
* Drafting, negotiating and completing transactional leases and licenses
* Working on high value projects on behalf of the council including property acquisitions, disposals and regeneration matters
* Drafting and negotiating general commercial agreements on behalf of the Council

A highly attractive rate of £30 - £38 per hour dependent upon experience is offered.
