Chadwick Nott are currently representing a Legal 500 Law Firm in the centre of Nottingham who require a Senior Immigration Caseworker to join their Team. Salary negotiable for the right candidate but will be to c£20K
The successful candidate will have responsibility for an active caseload involving in-country and entry clearance Appendix FM Applications, Private Life Applications, Ancestry Visa Applications, Visitor Visa Applications, EEA, Nationality Applications and Judicial Reviews. Duties would include the preparation of applications and appeals including First Tier Tribunal, Upper Tribunal and Higher Courts.
To be successful in this role you must have previous Immigration law experience, 6 months would be the minimum. You should be capable and have experience of drafting persuasive legal documents, have the ability to identify decisions that will be challengeable and have the knowledge and confidence to pursue complex points of law. You should hold a reasonable knowledge of relevant statutes, case law and legal procedures.
The firm often a supportive environment, facilitating training where needed. The salary on offer is to c£20K although for a stand out candidate they may be willing to increase this.
