Head of Contentious

A very exciting and rare brand new opportunity has arisen in Manchester city centre. It is a very interesting and diverse role for a Civil Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of around 10PQE. You must have solid, up-to-date experience handling good quality Insurance Defendant work. Experience of managing a team of lawyers covering different disciplines would be highly desirable.

You will be responsible for the overall management of the Manchester office consisting of around 30 team members. Teams include Civil Litigation, Crime and Regulatory law. You must have the gravitas and seniority to be the 'go-to' person for the Manchester office.

As part of your role you will be responsible for profitability and budgetary targets for the Contentious business, responsible for the output and professionalism of the team, including appropriate training oversight and supervision. You will seek to continuosly improve and grow the business.
