Our client is seeking a Custody, Clearing or Prime Brokerage Lawyer to join their team.
The role will initially be focussed on Custody/Clearing, developing new and complex products pertaining to securities interests, insolvency and regulatory developments.
Working alongside 2 other lawyers the initial role will focus on:
- Local & global clearing, settlement & custody
- Listed derivatives execution and clearing
- Synthetic clearing
- Global custody
Moving forward it is envisaged the opportunity will broaden to work with the wider group of 15+ lawyers and will include fund services, markets and regulatory matters.
The candidate:
- We would be interested in reviewing applications from Lawyers with 2+ PQE* experience, preferably gained in-house however applications from private practice lawyers will also be considered.
- Experience of custody/clearing is desirable, candidates with prime brokerage experience would also be attractive
*Candidates outside of this bracket will be considered if they are able to demonstrate the prerequisite experience required.
