A new opportunity has been created with a global manufacturing and engineering business based in Derbyshire which is seeking to recruit a lawyer with 1-5 year's PQE.
A new opportunity has been created with a global manufacturing and engineering business based in Derbyshire which is seeking to recruit a lawyer with 1-5 year's PQE. Following the successful appointment of a senior lawyer in the UK in 2014, the business is seeking to further expand the legal team in the UK with the appointment an additional lawyer. This role reports to the senior lawyer in the UK, you will undertake a varied role advising the UK business in relation to a range of legal areas across commercial, contractual and company secretarial projects.
This will include areas such as:
- Commercial work: A wide range of commercial, contractual and disputes. This will include reviewing and advising on a range of commercial contracts and agreements, including software licences, services agreements, distribution agreements and NDAs.
- Compliance: managing customer issues, data protection and the impact of new legislative developments
- Marketing: supporting the team with promotions and advertorials
- Company Secretarial, Insurance & Property: completion of statutory obligations, insurance management and the estates portfolio.
