The successful Corporate Partner will ideally be at least 6 years qualified and will either be a Senior Associate in a Corporate Team or a Junior Corporate Partner looking for more responsibility. You will have a strong career track record ideally with one of the leading national or regional law firms which must be Legal 500 rated. You will have a sound knowledge of corporate law and will be able to handle transactional work from start through to completion and will be able to demonstrate a strong technical understanding of all aspects of M&A, MBO, MBI, Joint Ventures and Private Equity work. A level of client following will be required along with business development skills and networking abilities; it is essential that you have a clear plan how to develop your practice.
The role within the department is unique, refreshing and quite exciting. The thriving corporate department is currently working at full capacity and they cover the full spectrum of transactional corporate work including private equity, mergers & acquisitions, AIM and equity capital markets. You will be required to deliver an exceptional service in all aspects of corporate law and be able to work closely with the existing corporate team on transactions as and when required. You will be given the full support of the department but you will be given a high degree of autonomy within this role and will be required to show initiative, drive and determination
