The Firm
Our client is a multi-office practice with expertise encompassing all aspects of civil, commercial and criminal law. With a number of departments ranked in the upper tiers of the Legal 500 they endeavour to provide first class advice and representation, meeting and exceeding client needs. They offer a supportive working environment and structured career progression for staff and are currently undergoing a period of expansion, requiring a Family Solicitor for their office in Reading.
The Role
We are now seeking experienced Family Solicitors for our clients highly regarded department in Reading. With the skills and expertise to manage a full and varied caseload with minimal supervision, the successful Solicitor will ensure high levels of client care and service in family related matters to include: divorce; financial matters; separation agreements; Private Children Act matters and; pre and post-nuptial agreements. Advocacy experience is advantageous but not essential for this position.
In addition the successful Family Solicitor, will immerse themselves within business development, networking and marketing initiatives, building and maintaining client and professional relationships within the region. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE gained within Family;
You will have excellent communication and client care skills across all levels;
You will have experience handling both private and Legal Aid work;
You will have your own workload and be able to work with minimal supervision;
Advocacy experience is highly advantageous but not essential;
You will be able to organise your workload to meet tight deadlines;
You will have a flair for business development, marketing and networking.
