Senior Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel / Legal Manager role based in Birmingham

Our client are a highly regarded organisation, looking to hire a senior lawyer, legal counsel to join the existing legal team.

Reporting to the General Counsel you will play a leading role in advising senior stakeholders on a range of high profile, legal issues as well as take day to day operational responsibility for the legal team.

Given the complexity of the potential legal issues, we are looking to speak to solicitors or barristers who can demonstrate experience in one or more of the following:

- Public Law
- Regulatory
- FOI and Data Protection
- Commercial Contracts and Procurement
- Licensing law

Personality fit is essential. You will be creative, pragmatic with a genuine commercial outlook. You will inspire and develop others and be an excellent relationship builder. The business is friendly and supportive and you will feel a real sense of team.

You will ideally have experience in industry, the public sector or a regulatory body and be keen to take on additional responsibilities in a cutting edge sector.
