Part-Time Property Lawyer

Part-time Property Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period, with the possibility of further extension.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a major projects team within a sought after local authority. The successful Property Lawyer will be required to provide comprehensive advice and guidance on a wide range of commercial property transactions, for a number of regeneration and corporate investment projects.

Alongside handling typical Property and Regeneration matters, the successful candidate will be required to attend meetings with senior officers, as well as writing reports and briefing notes. Alongside this, additional work will include drafting and negotiating commercial documents, including;

• Development agreements
• Heads of terms
• Options agreements
• Building leases
• Agreements for lease

The ideal candidate will come from a commercial property and regeneration background. Previous local authority experience would be beneficial, although not essential.

Due to the intricate nature of the work, It is important to this council that the successful Property Lawyer demonstrates attention to detail, good prioritisation skills, and a highly organised approach to work.

This part-time position would be ideal for somebody looking to fit work around childcare or another job. The successful candidate will undertake 14-21 hours of work per week.
