Private Client PSL

Recognised as a market leader in this area, this firm has leading experts in international and domestic trusts and estates, with particular regard to multi-jurisdictional tax and inheritance issues, as well as international asset structuring. The firm also has specialists in domestic and international probate, residential and agricultural property and contentious trusts. Much of the work has an international element.

THE ROLE
This PSL role will include the following:
- Keeping track of and updating the team on legal developments
- Preparing technical notes for internal education and external marketing and business development purposes
- Collating and disseminating know-how to fee earners
- Co-ordinating the department's ongoing legal training and delivering elements of that training where appropriate, organising the training programme for trainees and new joiners to the department

ABOUT YOU
Candidates must have at least 5 years' PQE gained at a recognised firm with a strong private client practice. You will need experience dealing with tax and trusts, both domestic and offshore, and experience of multi-jurisdictional tax and estate planning. Proficient working knowledge of non-domiciled taxation, UK tax in relation to domestic and offshore trusts, UK property structuring work, inheritance tax and succession planning issues is required. Property and/or matrimonial experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
