REGULATORY FINANCIAL SERVICE LAWYER 5YRS+ PQE
ABU DHABI
UP TO £190,000
Our leading international client is recruiting an experienced, UK Qualified Regulatory Lawyer with Financial Services regulatory experience to join the team in Abu Dhabi. The regulatory team is make up of contentious and non-contentious lawyers, providing multi-disciplinary advice across all business areas including providing advice on licensing of complex businesses such as FinTech businesses, on data protection matters and on conduct of business queries.
The ideal candidate will have 5yrs+ PQE in English law, gained at a top tier firm and will have experience handling FCA, FSA, PRA matters.
Responsibilities include advising financial institutions including international banks on the full range of licensing, conduct of business and prudential matters; providing cross-border distribution and promotion advice to financial institutions; reviewing and interpreting financial services legislation; advising on the operational implementation of financial services legislation; reviewing and drafting transaction and standard documentation relating to funds, broker/dealer businesses, banking institutions, derivatives, asset management and FinTech.
