HR Business Partner
Our global law firm client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to manage their London HR function and lead their Legal recruitment process. The HR Business Partner will head up a small HR team and work closely with the partnership on all their HR and Lawyer talent acquisition requirements. Key responsibilities for the HR Business Partner will include leading on the Lawyer talent attraction and acquisition process, from liaison with search firms to on-boarding; management of the HR team; supporting and advising on performance management/evaluation processes; handling all Employee Relations issues; coordination of compensation and benefits; overseeing the graduate/trainee program; and various other HR projects.
Candidates must have strong HR generalist experience at manager level, with Law firm experience being essential. A CIPD qualification being strongly preferred. Significant experience of managing the recruitment process for the Lawyers is a prerequisite, and you must have a strong grasp of UK and EU law. You must be able and happy to work collaboratively with the HR colleagues in the US head office and in other offices globally. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential, and you must be able to manage and motivate a team of HR professionals. You will have a flexible and adaptable approach and be happy to roll your sleeves up.
