In-House Litigation Paralegal

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join an established in-house legal team to manage all personal injury and property damage claims for the company. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in the head office in Watford.
You will join a large, collegiate team in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere with complete autonomy for managing claims from initial reception to completion, including having the opportunity to attend court where necessary.
Day to day duties will include;
*Logging all new claims and acknowledging receipt within the required deadlines.
*Liaising with the claims handlers and the company's customer services department regarding complaints and potential claims.
*Investigating claims, gathering evidence and analysing such evidence to assess the viability of the claims before recommending a course of action to the business.
*Analysing data and producing reports and summaries relating to the claims.
*Conducting research into related areas of law and providing updates on legislative or case law developments.

You will have prior experience in a litigation role, ideally personal injury, managing your own caseload and working to set deadlines. You will be confident working with all levels of the business and able to build successful working relationships. You will take a proactive approach to your work and be able to work in a busy environment.
