Senior Manager - Legal Recruitment, Development & HR
Ryder Reid have been instructed on an exclusive basis by a successful global law firm to recruit a Senior Manager to manage the recruitment and professional development of Associates within their London office. This person will serve as a primary resource for the Associates and will manage everything from recruitment, to orientation, to learning and professional development. Key responsibilities for the Senior Manager will include: working with partners to manage recruitment needs, including liaising with search firms and offer process; coordination of the Summer Associate Program; overseeing new lawyer integration and orientation; serve as the HR point of contact and resource for lawyers; working with training managers to plan educational programs; and overseeing the secondment process.
The ideal candidate for this Senior Manager role will be degree educated and have relevant experience within a law firm encompassing legal recruitment, learning and professional development, graduate recruitment and HR. You must have strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with people of all levels. Excellent organisational and planning skills are essential, along with discretion, gravitas and the ability to influence both internally and externally.
