In-House Legal Counsel - North West

The Firm
My client is a successful manufacturing and distribution privately owned group of companies based in Lancashire.

The Role
As part of their on-going growth they are now looking to recruit a Senior Solicitor to the business to support the Managing Director with the day to day legal aspects of the business, including employment law and compliance, litigation including contractual risks, drafting and reviewing contracts, complaints, trademark and regulatory work and advising on and writing agency agreements.

The successful appointee
It is likely that the successful Solicitor/Barrister has at least 8 years PQE. It is essential that you have excellent drafting and negotiating skills and possess First class interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. Working closely with the MD it is important you can demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to undertake duties as required. You will work autonomously however there is much growth potential within the legal team to build a small team in time.
