YEOVIL – Family – Childcare Lawyer (NQ – 5 years PQE)

As exciting position for a Childcare Lawyer to join one of the South’s most reputable law firms.
 

The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone, ideally with Law Society Child Panel Membership, to join an experienced group of practitioners. You will have a commitment to public law and will manage a caseload of childcare matters, including child protection, public law care and adoption proceedings, where you will be acting for children, parents and other family members at all stages including emergency applications, case conferences, hearings and reviews.

The Candidate:
You will have an excellent knowledge of the public funding system and LAA procedures, and will be able to undertake your own advocacy. You will ideally have a developed relationship with CAFCASS and other childcare agencies. You will be a team player and will be expected to work collaboratively across the team.

As well as your technical abilities you will also need to be good at building relationships and be comfortable with business development.
