CNH Industrial is looking for a talented junior lawyer to join the legal team based at the head office of CNH Industrial's UK Commercial Operations in Essex, 30 minutes commute from the City of London. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in contract and general commercial law.

Detailed Job Description

Whilst the core of your work will centre on commercial work by its nature this role is one where the candidate must demonstrate an ability and willingness to cover other legal issues arising and they will be exposed to and mentored in the following areas though the course of the role:

• commercial and product liability litigation - determining strategy and instructing and managing external lawyers effectively
• corporate law and company secretarial
• compliance in areas such as consumer credit, data protection, corruption and money laundering
• employment law and health and safety
• real estate law
• financial services

Candidates with knowledge of these areas will have an advantage and although the core requirement is strong contract and commercial expertise this is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident lawyer to broaden their skill set.

Candidate's Profile

Ideally candidates will have more than 2 years' PQE*, with previous experience working as part of an in house team. Candidates who do not have the above will be considered provided they can demonstrate ability and commitment to learn.

The individual must be able to provide practical advice, often to tight timeframes and have sufficient gravitas to be relied upon by senior managers they will be advising on a regular basis. The role will be based in Essex, but occasional travel within the UK, Republic of Ireland and Nordic countries will be required. A Competitive package will be provided for the right candidate.
