Fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious SECRETARIAL MANAGER who is looking to move into a new and challenging role - all of which is on offer in this exciting and dynamic international law firm. This person will be principally responsible for all aspects of the secretarial service – staffing, induction training, employee relations, assignment of tasks, performance evaluations, individual development, absence management, discipline and cost control - and should have proven experience in all these areas as you will be supervising up to 80 secretaries. Candidates should be a graduate or have a very good secondary education. Preferably 2-3 year’s supervisory and/or secretarial team coordination experience. Good supervising skills. Basic knowledge of employment legislation. Regularly has to prioritise competing demands in a pressurised environment. Knowledge of the firm’s policies and procedures.
