Competition Locum Lawyer

LAW Absolute are working with a leading International firm who are seeking an experienced Competition lawyer to join their highly regarded Competition department at their offices located in the heart of the City on an interim basis. The role is to start as soon as possible for a duration of 5-6 months.

You will be joining a highly reputable team advising on an a wide spectrum of competition law matters across various industries for international clientele to include but not be limited to manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, electronic, aviation groups, energy, cinema groups, multinationals, music publishers, and consumer/retail. 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in dealing with multi-jurisdictional Competition matters and be able to manage their own caseload from start to finish and therefore ideally have gained at least 4 years’ experience post-qualification in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the following;

• Mergers
• Pricing and distribution
• Intellectual property
• Dominance and abusive conduct
• Cartel and state aids (both at the EU and Member State levels).
• Civil investigations, criminal/cartel investigations,
• Class action antitrust litigation, and counselling/compliance program.
