Conveyancing Supervisor - Legal Exec/Solicitor

Our client, a Birmingham private practice, is looking to recruit a an experienced Conveyancer to join its busy team and help run a small team of junior fee earners.

Description

The successful Conveyancer will join a well-respected and busy private practice based in Birmingham city centre.

You will work on your own caseload and be the point of contact for the clients. You will also have responsibility for the junior fee earners in the team which at the moment is currently around 5 legal assistants/paralegals. It is hoped the team will continue to grow in the future.

The team typically get involved in bulk transactions such as plot sale conveyancing.

The client has an excellent client base of Housing Associations and advise in respect of plot sales.

Ideally you will have experience of managing a small team and experience advising and assisting on, amongst others: shared ownership, mortgage rescue, staircasing, Right to Buy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or mid level conveyancer to make the step up to a well-respected Birmingham firm and take responsibility for a group of hard-working and focused legal assistants.

Profile

The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor or experienced legal executive and ideally you will have experience supervising more junior members of staff.

Our client will consider candidates with differing levels of PQE.

Excellent candidates who have experience working on traditional conveyancing matters in a more high street environment will also be considered depending on experience.
