Marine Insurance Paralegal

Our client, an international law firm with an outstanding reputation for litigation and dispute resolution, seeks an experienced paralegal to join their Marine Insurance team.

You will ideally have 1-2 years of marine or shipping law as well as strong academics (2:1 or equivalent in degree) and be looking to apply this experience in an international law firm. You should be a strong team player and be extremely self-motivated and enthusiastic.

You will be joining a team handling marine insurance and shipping and transport and logistic matters, including: cargo related claims, warehousing disputes, carriage of goods and policy coverage advice. Typically you will deal with a range of major insurance and reinsurance companies, ports and terminal operators, commodity traders, cargo owners and their insurers. This is an extremely highly regarded firm that would stand out on Training Contract applications and in terms of your future career prospects.
