Director of Fitness to Practise

We are working with a statutory regulator to find them an experienced Director to head their Fitness to Practise Directorate, on a 9-12 month maternity contract.  This role will suit a qualified Barrister or Solicitor with a track record in senior management, ideally within comparable governance structures or public facing stakeholder environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with the right skills and experience to be part of an innovative, collaborative leadership team.

The ideal candidate will be used to managing teams and budgets. Strong communication skills are essential; the post holder will have the credibility to promote key messages to a wide variety of external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the organisation to meet their key objective to protect, promote and maintain the health and safety of members of the public by promoting high standards of professional education, conduct and performance.
