Clinical Negligence Solicitor, 2-5 PQE - Cambridge
This is an exciting opportunity to join one a tier 1 Clinical Negligence team based in Cambridge. My client handles negligence claims for people who have suffered illness or injury as a result of substandard care in any medical setting to include treatment from a GP, hospital, clinic or dentist. The work is very varied and includes all types of medical negligence casework, including high value, complex birth injury claims (including injury to both mother and baby), spinal injury claims, surgical claims (including cosmetic procedures), orthopaedic claims, fatal accident claims, delay in diagnosis or delay in treatment and incorrect or inappropriate treatment.
Ideally you will be 2 - 5 PQE however my client is flexible on PQE and so all interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
To be successful in this role you must;
- Ideally (not essential), have at least 2 years' post-qualified experience in Medical Negligence in a Claimant setting. However, Solicitors currently practising in a Defendant firm will be considered.
- Have a strong appetite for business development, able to build successful relationships with support groups, charities and medical professionals. Existing contacts in the East of England region would be an advantage.
- Be able to operate independently and as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and develop other team members.
- Have excellent client care and inter-personal skills, operating with integrity and showing empathy and intuition.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
