Established in 2003 BCL Legal is a specialist legal recruitment consultancy working with private practice law firms and in-house legal teams throughout the UK.

Initially launched in Manchester, our success has allowed us to expand; our team of almost 60 cover locations in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, the North East, the Midlands, Bristol and the South West as well as London. We are currently experiencing rapid growth and recruiting across two teams in our Birmingham office.

At BCL legal we provide an excellent platform to take on a key role in the market you service. The business has been built over years of hard work, providing you with the foundations to move into a team working with major UK law firms or in-house legal departments. Many of our consultants have either worked in recruitment before, or previously been a lawyer and chosen to move to BCL Legal to start a new and rewarding career in legal recruitment.

We are currently expanding our private practice teams in Birmingham with the opportunity to work alongside colleagues servicing existing clients' needs. One of our roles will be working alongside a team of experienced recruiters, handling legal roles from paralegal/NQ solicitor level through to partner level appointments across the South West. As a key member in the team you will work with a loyal client base, taking over established relationships including local, national and international law firms. Our other opportunity is working for our established property team placing junior and senior lawyers in this niche area. Both opportunities offer a unique way of learning, full training with our on site trainer as well as your manager, a buddy and a mentor system and lots of fun along the way.
