We are working with a leading banking/ leveraged finance practice in New York interested in hiring Australian lawyers with banking experience gained in top international firms either in London or Australia. Our client is a dynamic partner who has recently moved across to this firm to head up a new five partner lending practice acting for major investment banks in New York. The team has ambitious growth plans and has already secured some of the biggest leveraged finance mandates over the summer and fall in the New York market this year.

Australian banking lawyers are highly prized by a number of our New York law firm clients for their charisma, 'roll up the sleeves' attitude and easy eligibility for a work visa. A number of Australian banking lawyers have obtained partnership in top NY firms in recent years.

This team has seen great success with Australians and is ideally looking for second - sixth year lawyers to assist with building their bank finance practice. With salaries for fourth year lawyers (3 PQE) at $235,000, this is a sensational opportunity for ambitious Australian banking associates to work in New York.
