Banking Review Paralegal - English & French
A great opportunity has arisen for an English and French speaking Paralegal with an understanding of banking (particularly derivatives) terminology to join a short term assignment at a bank in the City.
Business fluent English language skills to native level are a must have, along with fluent/very strong French skills.
The English & French Document Review Paralegal will be working on a transcription exercise as part of a compliance monitoring programme that is scheduled to last 4 – 6 weeks.
The successful applicant will be working onsite to conduct audio review of brokers’ technical conversations in English and French, as such banking experience (particularly knowledge of FX, structured products, interest rate hedging products/swaps and debt capital markets) is required.
This assignment would suit a Paralegal with experience reviewing, analysing or drafting ISDA Master Agreements, or a Paralegal with technical banking doc review experience. Future Trainees with French language skills and Banking/Finance electives in the LPC are also encouraged to apply.
Strong attention to detail is key, as you will be listening to brokers’ technical conversations and then summarising and analysing the same.
Although our client does not require a qualified Lawyer, Lawyers who feel they fulfil the above criteria are welcome to apply.
