Innovative regional financial services company based in Belfast that offer a bespoke and specialist service to a range of global financial clientele have ambitious expansion plans for Belfast and as a result we are delighted to be assisting in their search for a astute Commercial Solicitor to join their team to work in an In House capacity

Your new role

You will Provide legal IP and contracts coverage on a broad range of commercial transactions across a variety of functional areas, including Travel, Professional Accounting/Advisory/Audit Services, Facilities Management, Learning and Development, Project Management (Design and Construction), Events, Amenities, Security, Information Management, and Multi-media. - Draft, review, comment upon and approve legal documents, including commercial contracts, service agreements, consultant agreements, construction contracts, engagement letters, variations and addendums, task orders and letter agreements. - Respond to counter party comments on legal documents. - Advise internal clients on global legal policy and legal/commercial risk issues. - Assist in the organization and maintenance of form/template contracts. - Ensure compliance with current company processes and procedures. - Prepare contract abstracts/summaries. - Administrative duties include tracking status of legal matters and maintaining legal document template files.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified solicitor with 3 YRS PQE with experience in;

IP- Negotiating and advising on all types of commercial contracts, including consulting agreements and service agreements. - Ability to manage a multi-jurisdiction practice. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. - Ability to adjust to a changing work environment while maintaining effectiveness. - Be able to handle pressure and tight deadlines. - Possess a high level of accuracy, multi-tasking and attention to detail.
