Commercial Solicitor - International Law Firm - Dealing with both National and International clientele. £Excellent + benefits

 

JOB TITLE: TMT Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED: 2 - 6 PQE

LOCATION: Buckinghamshire (Commutable from Northampton, Oxford, Bedford, Luton)

SALARY: £Excellent + benefits

 

THE ROLE:

Commercial Solicitor - Working with the full spectrum of commercial contract work including terms and conditions, high value supply and procurement contracts, agency and distribution agreements, IT contracts, website terms, software development and licensing, e-commerce, data protection, outsourcing as well as intricate business-critical bespoke commercial agreements and intellectual property-related agreements. The successful Commercial Solicitor will be working with a varied clientele base, technology-based start-ups, an impressive array of substantial entrepreneurial private companies as well as household names. The successful candidate will be exposed to an extensive variety of work and your prospects will be limited only by the extent of you ambition.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

The appointed Commercial Solicitor will possess at least 2 years' PQE experience from a city or regional law firm where you have knowledge & experience of commercial contract work and assisting with running significant matters with considerable file responsibility. You will have experience in contract law and commercial contracts. An aptitude for IT/software/ outsourcing arrangements and/or an IP/media capability would be of particular interest. Experience in assisting in reviewing and advising upon complex, often business-critical commercial agreements involving significant sums; balancing risk and reward and giving sound, unequivocal advice to clients. A proven ability to give clear, concise legal advice whilst having regard to the practical and commercial needs of the client. Strong drafting skills, and the ability to generate complex, bespoke documents sometimes without precedent.
