Insurance-Driven Commercial Contracts Lawyer (1-3PQE)

This major insurance intermediary seek a lawyer to take primary point-person responsibility for a department focussing on projects involving panel insurers.  Working closely with the business, you will be involved in the drafting negotiation and review of a range of contractual documentation including Insurer Services agreements, Insurance Distribution arrangements, technology and affinity.  You will also be involved in development of new products and services with insurers, including distribution-led projects, policy wordings for new insurance categories and a range of other subject matter.

Reporting to the principal commercial lawyer in the department, you will have the support of more senior lawyers but will manage the relationships with the business and the work-load from this department as the Legal Department point-person.

The successful candidate is likely to have 1-3 years' PQE gained either from an insurance sector business or from a law firm in an insurance driven commercial contract setting.  Exposure to insurance-driven commercial contracts or to commercial contracts more broadly in an insurance in-house role is essential.
