This major investment bank has exploited its global client-base and footprint and its reputation as an OTC derivatives house through the development of a market-leading client clearing and derivatives intermediation business.

As the lawyer responsible for guiding this business through further growth and product development, you will work in close proximity with the front-office, advising on OTC derivatives and clearing matters, expanding the product range to new jurisdictions and advising on repo, give-up, fx and rates intermediation, clearing and regulatory matters.

Based in the London office and reporting locally to the Head of Legal for the Investment Bank and globally to the Head of Legal for Client Clearing and Derivative Intermediation (who is based overseas), you will have a high degree of responsibility and autonomy day-to-day and be point-person in legal to the business.

A lawyer (ideally with 2-6PQE) with experience in OTC derivatives and associated clearing matters, ideally to include fixed income derivative products, you will benefit from the bank's meritocratic and mature culture and it's encouragement of flexibility and work/life balance.  You will also enjoy a competitive financial package with a stable bonus structure which typically fluctuates far less than those of its peers.

An interesting role for a derivatives lawyer with good knowledge of ISDA architecture and clearing matters to take on a highly responsible position.

Gibson Limburn Search acts as an Employment Agency with respect to permanent positions.  PQE is referenced as a guideline only.
