This leading global bank with significant presences in investment banking, asset management and custody has a vacancy within its Legal Department for a regulatory lawyer to take on a full range of financial services regulatory matters across EMEA.
Reporting to the Chief Regulatory Counsel, you will take on a diet of work including implementation of EU regulation across Europe, Prudential and Conduct regulation, FCA handbook matters, regulatory aspects of intra-group reorganisations, new product development and approvals, outsourcing, AML and other regulatory advice.
Working closely with a range of stakeholders from the General Counsel to heads of desk to the Executive Committee, you will provide advice across a full range of regulatory subject matter.
The role would suit a lawyer with 4-8 years' PQE served in a financial services regulatory role, contentious or non-contentious, with significant exposure to at least some of the issues referenced above.
In return, you will work for a friendly and collegiate team, receive a strong market rate of compensation along with a compelling benefits package and benefit from an efficient culture of flexibility and therefore strong autonomy and work/life balance.
Gibson Limburn Search acts as an Employment Agency with respect to permanent positions. PQE is referenced as a guideline only and does not preclude other applicants with suitable experience.
