Private Client Solicitor - Trust & Tax - Partnership Prospects

A highly regarded Legal 500 listed full service practice based in Coventry is keen to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its envied Private Client Team.

Located near to a host of transport links and with free on-site parking, the firm prides itself on providing bespoke legal services to both individuals and businesses within the region and it has longstanding strong relationships with some of strongest commercial entities and financially sound individuals within the locality due to its reputation as being the "go to" firm in the locality.

As a consequence of considerable new instructions, and with one eye on succession planning, the firm is keen to hear from Private Client Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years PQE.

You will have experience of preparing tax efficient wills, estate planning, estate administration, advising elderly clients, dealing with Court of Protection matters and creating and administering trusts. There will also be the opportunity to work in partnership with the firms Dispute Resolution Team when instructed to deal with contentious probate and trusts matters so this role does offer a variety of challenging opportunities.

Ideally you will have STEP membership or be looking to attain this and you will also be eager to proactively develop and market the department.

This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious private client solicitor who is keen to take an active role in developing the department whilst benefiting from working on quality instructions emanating from high net worth individuals and be involved in tactical tax planning.

The team comprises one partner and support staff so, with that in mind, strong candidates will be significantly involved with succession planning with the long term goal being a smooth transition of the team's management within the next 3 to 4 years meaning that there are partnership prospects for the right person.

As well as a partnership potential, a competitive salary and a very good benefits package is on offer and the firm takes great pride in being known for having an open and transparent culture, which no doubt explains its low attrition rate.
