An interesting opportunity has arisen to join a top commercial firm in Manchester as a Senior Compliance Officer.
Reporting into the Compliance Manager, the Senior Compliance Officer will play and integral role within the broader Risk & Compliance function and will be responsible for the following;
- Conflict checking and clearances working closely with partners and fee earners
- Managing information barriers
- AML queries
- Conducting risk assessment and formulated management reports
- Risk database management
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working within the Risk & Compliance function of a commercial law firm, a thorough understanding of the Law Society rules, practical experience with conflicts and AML queries and knowledge of the SRA codes of conduct.
