Commercial Lawyer - Listed MNC - Contract Role
Our client is a large MNC, widely respected as an industry leader and an excellent employer. Their legal team is fully integrated within a highly commercial environment, supporting high-worth projects on behalf of their clients around the world.
The team is seeking to make a new appointment to support their busy legal function on a mid-long term contract basis (initially 6-12 months with potential for further extension). This role may be based at one of several company offices around the UK. Potential for homeworking exists.
The successful candidate will be a talented, ambitious lawyer with a solid grounding in commercial negotiation and contracts, commercially astute and with an in-house background. You must be competent in full-cycle contract delivery, from RFP to post-award and able to manage relationships with internal and external key partners effectively. In addition, the role will address numerous other matters including dispute resolution, corporate, employment and competition issues.
For consideration you must be able to demonstrate a sound track record of the above, plus the commitment and desire needed to succeed within this demanding business. The ability to work with a minimum of supervision is essential, providing commercial legal advice to the business whilst limiting risk.
