My client is an award winning, multi service law firm looking to appoint a Conveyancing Fee Earner/ Team Manager with previous experience in a previous role to join their expanding team in Cheshire.

Due to expansion they are now looking for a Conveyancing Fee Earner/ Team Manager, who will be able to handle their own caseload of sale and purchase transactions from inception to completion. The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role and will be required to manage a small team of Legal Assistants and delegating tasks and be responsible for completions on the day of completion. Qualified Solicitors/Licensed Conveyancers and non-qualified candidates will be considered for the role. Experience of using a case management system such as Proclaim will be highly desirable.

The successful Conveyancing Fee Earner/ Team Manager will have the required skills and experience and will have the ability to help the firm grow and develop further.

Responsibilities & Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years expereince within Conveyancing
• You will be able to handle your own caseload of sale and purchase transactions from inception to completion
• You will be required to manage a small team of Legal Assistants
• You will be responsible for completions on the day of completion
• You will deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and occasionally face to face, in order to provide advice and assistance
• You will be responsible for communicating with clients and third parties on all elements of the conveyancing transaction
• You will keep the case management system and any third party web sites up to date in real time
• You will ensure our clients and introducers of business receive the best possible service at times
• You will prepare required documentation as required with the conveyancing process
• You will supervise the preparation of the completion packs for the accounts department, to include completion statements and invoices by our support teams
• Strong administrative skills gained in an office environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good telephone manner
• Conversant in Microsoft office
• Highly organised
• Willingness to learn new skills
