SCOPE OF THE ROLE:

Due to the continued growth of the residential property department this well established law firm is keen to capitalise on their recent successes through the appointment of an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to take the team into the next stage of growth. Covering the full remit of residential property transactions, the successful Residential Property Solicitor will be responsible for their own caseload of residential property matters and play a key role in expanding and developing the department further. The role requires the suitable Residential Property Solicitor to deal with all types of residential property matters as well as supervise junior members of the team on all types of matters and handling matters from inception through to completion.

 

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Applications are sought from skilled and talented Residential Property Solicitors who possess the drive and determination to drive a department forward. As the newly appointed Residential Property Solicitor you will have sound technical expertise in dealing with sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, equity releases and buy to let matters. Ideal Residential Property Solicitors will be working within a similar role within a well regarded law firm and possess a proven track record of managing a team of fee earners. Key to this role is not only a thorough understanding of the conveyancing process but also the capability to motivate and develop individuals within the team. The successful Residential Property Solicitor must be confident in managing their own caseload, be comfortable working as part of a team, be a strong communicator and posses excellent client care skills.
