Contracts Manager

My client, a global leader in the life sciences industry, is looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their Cambridge-based team to take the lead on negotiating significant deals throughout Europe and drafting and negotiating specialist and complex contracts for the business. You will also supervise more junior members of the team and support them with drafting and negotiating a range of contracts and submitting tender documents.

You will have experience managing or supervising more junior members of a team and be comfortable taking the lead on large projects, ideally of an international nature. You will have excellent commercial acumen with the ability to assess risks and facilitate business.

You will work with other areas of the business, including to roll out new policies and training in relevant areas of the law.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a management/supervisory role.

Whilst not essential, other European language skills would be useful.
